The Diary Game May 01, 2024: Community Post Moderation

Today I chose to work at home, there is a lot of pending work that has not been completed, one of which is preparing several office documents regarding the Draft Changes to the Health Development Strategic Plan, this is work that takes up a lot of time, requires extra energy so that I can complete it perfectly.

Apart from that, as a community admin, I also moderate a number of posts in the community. I really enjoy this daily activity as part of my routine.

There are a lot of kitchen supplies that need to be purchased today, my wife plans to shop at the traditional market in the sub-district city because her train brakes are broken, she is using my motorbike, meanwhile, I am also trying to change the brake rubber and engine oil at the nearest repair shop.

Brakes are an important part of riding, considering that the next day my wife returned to actively teaching at a remote high school in North Aceh Regency, I took the motorbike to be repaired. The total cost incurred today to repair 1 brake package and change engine oil is IDR. 210,000.

After repairing the motorbike, I received a telephone call that several types of documents had to be prepared immediately, and I kept these documents in the workroom at the office. Even though the weather was hot, I headed there to pick up the documents.

The distance between the small town where I live and where I work is not too far, but because the sun has been too hot lately, I feel tired and drive the vehicle at high speed. Thank God, I arrived at the office and took some of the necessary data and documents, then returned home.

In the evening I went to the traditional market to buy several types of fruit. Due to the scarcity of fruit due to the extreme weather, fruit prices have soared, for example, oranges which are usually sold for IDR. 15,000/ kilogram, currently sold at IDR. 25,000/ kilogram and the same goes for salak, I usually buy it for IDR. 10,000/ kilogram but currently the price has increased sharply to IDR. 15,000.

Almost all commodities have increased due to the economic recession in Indonesia, but even though prices have increased, every primary need must be met to support a healthy life.

As usual, after carrying out my duties and obligations as head of the family, I went to Hybrid Coffee to continue moderating posts in the community. I am more comfortable here because the place is beautiful, open and provides typical Acehnese coffee.

There was quite a lot of moderation today, I found several posts that were not part of the status club and also found content that utilized AI services. This author was inactive 4 years ago, so when he started joining the platform again, he could show positive things, but not what he showed. This is very unfortunate because if the author makes the same mistake a second time, I will take another stance, namely muting his account so that he cannot post again in the community.
