The Diary Game: 10th April, 2026. Getting My Bicycle Fixed And Leaving For Training.
Yunno, there are times we keep pushing small things forward, telling ourselves “I’ll do it tomorrow", until tomorrow turns into weeks. Sometimes, something small becomes a big deal. That’s exactly what happened with my bicycle.
Its your boy @leorichies... and For a very long time, it had issues, but I kept postponing the repair. Either I was too busy, too tired, or just not in the mood. But today being a weekend, I told myself, enough is enough. I finally decided to take the bike to the repair shop. Watching it get fixed was very satisfying, it felt as tho i was correcting something I should have handled long ago. And the sudden increase in the prices of things I had to change was no joke. I literally spent more than what I budgeted for, all in the name of procrastination. That whay happens when shift things aside.
After everything was done, I decided not to rush home immediately. Instead, I took a route I hadn’t used in a long time, to enjoy a sweet lone ride. And that decision came with a small surprise. Along that quiet path, I spotted fresh grasses growing, ones that'll be perfect for my rabbits to feed on.
I stopped, cut enough that would last for about two days, and continued my journey home feeling a bit accomplished. Back at home, I fed the rabbits first. After that, I took a shower and laid down to rest. Before I knew it, I slept off. Somw minutes to 4 pm, I woke up cause I had training to attend. So without wasting time I quickly got ready for my football training. Even though I was a bit tired, I still showed up. Training went well, cuase my brother actually told me he'd be joining me, so we made our walk to the field and afterward, I trekked back home in the evening. When I finally got home, I freshened up, had my dinner, and allowed myself to rest properly.
Maybe next time I won’t wait that long or at least, I’ll try not to, because what you postpone today will still be waiting for you tomorrow. So just get it done sooner enough.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
