Today, I woke up at 8.00 am, took a shower and quickly left for the office. Come to the office and have breakfast. I am an electrical engineer. Today, I will do monthly electrical maintenance on my substation. Power will be shut down at 9.00 am. When I reached the office at 9.00 am, I switched off the power supply and started the maintenance work with my electrical team.

I make a list of electrical maintenance tasks. First, I formed three teams of electricians. Give each team a task because today's power supply will be off from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. I have to finish work by 5.00 pm. We start electrical maintenance work in every unit. I supervise all the work. Let's start with the new setup of an electric energy meter. Three current transformers (CT) are installed in three phases to take the meter reading. CT ratio is 3000/5 amp.

I work on CT for about two hours. Connect two controlling cables from each CT for six cables to the energy meter. I will set up the energy meter based on the CT ratio here. We complete the connection with the energy meter using cable joiners. I am under a lot of work pressure because I must complete the maintenance and supply the electricity within a certain time.

33 KV line maintenance

Then, I started 33 KV VCB maintenance with another team of electricians. If 33 KV VCBs are not maintained, carbon build-up causes major electrical accidents. If I follow the maintenance schedule, electrical accidents are reduced. After the electrical maintenance of a unit, we went for lunch. After having lunch, we started the maintenance work again.

Then, a 33 KV 0.15 amp fuse of a VCB of an electrical substation got broken. We get fuses of the same rating from the store and fit them. Today, I found the fuse broken during maintenance. We can see the faults because we perform electrical maintenance according to the rules. Electrical maintenance is very important today.

Then we do maintenance of some 33 KV electrical joints. The joints of high-voltage lines get carbonized, and sparks occur. Electrical problems are reduced due to maintenance once every month. I give the most importance to maintenance in my electrical work.

After the maintenance at 6.00 pm, we started the production by turning on the high voltage line. Then I return home from the office in the evening. Come home and rest for some time. Then, I create and submit my first post of the day on the Steemit platform. Then at 11.00 pm eat and sleep.
