The Diary Game: Waking Up Tired And Having to Deal With Work (30-01-2026)

You would agree with me that they are some days where your just wake up feeling very lively and others days you don't just want to get out of bed. Everything just feels so tiring, just me nothing is wrong with you. You are not lazy, you're just human. Today was one of those days. I woke up feeling very tired, I couldn't even get myself out of bed. I turned my eyes to see my youngest daughter at the door. She was staring at me with a sleepy eyes. "Mummy, I'm hungry" she said. I was shocked because she had dinner before going to bed. I just smiled at her I told her to go and wake her see up for morning devotion. I managed to dragged myself to join them. My eldest daughter was around so I knew the stress will be lessen.

After prayers, I went to pick out my dress for work. It also felt like my brain wasn't working. I didn't even know what outfit to pick. I had three dresses in mind, inorder to decided, I wrote the colour of the dress on different papers, folded them, spread it on the bed and pick one. That was how I was resulted to what I wore to work. My daughter was already in the kitchen preparing breakfast. I went to prepare the others for school.

Breakfast

After showering, I had my breakfast and left for work. On my way to work, I had to stop by the pharmacy to get medications. I explained to the pharmacist that I was having body ache. She gave me some medications and I left. The was traffic jam on the road. I got a message from my boss. She wanted to know if I was at the office and it turned out that we were both sucked in the traffic. I got to the office before her though but we were very late.

We had a lot of clients waiting at the office for us. It was going to be a very long day, coupled with the fact that it was the end of the month. People kept trooping in and out of the bank. Some came to make deposit, get their savings and lots.

We closed very late from the office. I headed straight to church. My children were already there. We spent about two hours, before going back home.
