The Diary Game [19/05/2026] Going to work on a rainy day

Hello steemit family, it's your boy again @mannylee and I welcome you to another episode of my daily diary today. Today was a great day, spending my whole day as usual at work and creating my fun in it. Today I woke up to a great weather, it rained through the night and I woke up with a huge smile of satisfaction because I slept well and I even woke up late. Indeed I had a wonderful sleep because lately I was having a fever but after sleeping through the night the fever left and I'm now strong again. I did all my morning chores and prepared for work after waking up although I finished late but due to the distraction of the rain I was never bothered because I will surely take it as an excuse for coming late to work today. After preparing, I rushed off to work thinking I was late and everyone might have come to work already but I was surprised that I only found only one of my colleagues who was sweeping the office. So I helped and arranged everywhere to be in order.

Work today was quite boring due to the occurrence of the rainfall, everywhere was so quiet and cold, so we didn't do much work today. I tried sleeping when I was less busy but I couldn't, so I went online to watch some reels in my TikTok app and I saw a video which was highly recommended to watch - THE K2. I watched the highlights of the video and also the reviews of the video and it was recommendable, so I decided to download it. In the first two episodes I downloaded, it was very interesting and I did enjoy it. Watching this video was what kept me occupied whenever I had no work in hand. Although, during the evening we were very occupied with work because by that time everywhere was dried, no sign as though rain fell in the area.

When it was almost night time, we now closed and I took a ride back home because I can't really trek back home by that very time of the night. I was the one that complained hard before everyone decided to close for today for work. If not, they wanted to close saying that there's still time, there's still time. When I got back home, I was very happy because my mom was around at home and night food was already cooked. Thanks to her I was able to eat dinner early tonight. After eating, I decided to watch the football match between Manchester city and Bournemouth and I supported Manchester City to win as it is one of their hope to win in other to keep up in the EPL trophy but Manchester City really screwed up and drew the match against their opponents Bournemouth which now made the title rivals - Arsenal to automatically win the EPL trophy. I was so disappointed in Manchester City 🩵 as they were unable to defeat Bournemouth and now they have lost the title and have given it to Arsenal to make them champions. After watching the football game I felt bad and I went to lie down to sleep. Today was a very good and I loved and appreciate it and I'd say that I spent my day well
