A Movie That Hits Deep: Lessons I Learned from Behind the Scenes

I just finished the movie "Behind the scenes" directed by Funke Akindele, bro, this movie got me crying at the end, though I don't normally cry watching movies, but this movie got me. There were also happy moments in the movie too. This movie is all about family, love, friends, decisions and forgiveness.

You might not find the movie interesting judging the movie by the movie trailer. For me the movie trailer was a bit less compared to the main movie itself. This movie "Behind the scenes" got me questioning a lot about life and other things. It really got me thinking. While watching this movie I try to picture myself in different scenarios of this movie.

It really tells a lot about how ungrateful most people we call family can turn out to be.
When I discovered in the movie how her closest friend also played her, it got me thinking twice about the people we call friends. It tells a lot about personality. Sometimes, we should be mindful of how we open ourselves to people, some people are just there waiting for an opportunity to take advantage of you.
The part when she lost her best friend got me sad, loosing a friend that has become family can be painful.

There were two lessons I learned from this movie:

• In everything you do in life, always put yourself first, love and care for yourself, you deserve it because if anything should happen to you, the world will still go on without you.

• Who is family? Are they those bond to us by blood or those who are always there for us even in our absence?

Big shout out to Funke Akindele for delivering such a good movie with many lessons to grab. I try to imagine how she came up with this kind of unexpected storyline, I'm not sure I have seen any movie like this.

If you've not watched "Behind the scenes", take it from me, it's a movie you need to watch.
After watching the movie, I was having a thousand thoughts generally about life and that's what exactly a great movie is supposed to do to you after watching it.
