The Power of Gratitude 🙏
Do you always show gratitude when you're being helped or don't you? In a layman's understanding, gratitude is the feeling of being thankful and appreciative for the good things in life. It is a positive way for us to show respect and appreciation for the help given to us.
Gratitude can be to our creator for the gift of life, to our parents for their support and care, to friends or anyone who supported us. It is a way to recognise the kindness of others and the blessings they receive every day. There are many ways we can express gratitude which can be through actions, words, or even by being silent, appreciative in our hearts.
It is very important to show gratitude as it helps us to focus on what we have instead of what we lack. When we practice gratitude, we become more positive, happier, and more satisfied with life. Also, gratitude strengthens our relationships because when we appreciate what others do for us it makes them feel happy and valued to even do more.
"Thank you" is a way to show gratitude especially when someone helps you which is a way of acknowledging the person's effort. Being thankful to your parents for their car, your teachers for their guidance, and your friends for their support shows that you value their presence in your life.
