I think that there is a certain age to enjoying television. You're either young or old. But, this place in the middle is not the type that watches TV.. Or, maybe I am wrong.. But, I don't watch that much TV either.
What is old? You will be surprised how many are over 50+ and don't watch TV since years!

Ummm.. It might also be something to do with the mindset.. It might be that one reach to a point where it is enough for them to watch TV and they do not want to watch anymore..

Mindset plays a role as well. The time many sat in front of the telly is over and changed into another screen where there's no need to watch commercials.
