Yes, I did. We also spoke about it last year. Thanks for your reply and sharing the link again. I like the rules but question those being nominated as Stuckism artists. It seems they all followed and took for example or even copied the printings/paintings from the first... It makes me wonder how that fits with painting out of emotions, being uneducated, an amateur. What is it that I miss here, or is more about obsessive behaviour, the urge to paint no matter what, how and where?
The question remained is: what is art and why is only painting called art? Is using a stamp and colouring it with ink or watercolour art?

Yes, of course, we were back and forth about it. You didn’t miss anything. It is a manifesto full of contradictions. I just posted an interview I had for a show in Moscow in 2017 to give you an idea where I’m coming from with Stuckism. It’s loose, and probably also full of contradictions. Basically, I use art to search for other artists since we don’t have much of a union to connect us. I guess I consider Stuckism my painter’s union, and sometimes I go to meetings, sometimes I make a wide berth of the union hall:)
Like when I make art that isn’t painting.
If you have time to read the interview, I think I explain it the best way I can.
