Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W3 | Kindness that changed my life
Assalamualaikum everyone.
Welcome to this post. I hope that all of you will be doing well and enjoying the time with the grace and blessings of Almighty Allah. Today, I am here to be a part of the week 3 contest in the STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE community. The topic of discussion for this week is Kindness that changed my life. So, let's start the discussion without any wastage of time.
Kindness is one of the most important qualities of a well educated and noble person. Especially when the act of kindness is happened to someone who is totally helpless and poor. I have also faced such an incident when I was feeling that it was an act of kindness for a poor little animal.
Actually, it was the time when I was present in the home at Lahore and I decided to go back to village. When I have packed my luggage and about to start my way towards the nearest bus stand, I saw a poor little cat who was looking helpless and very hungry. She was laying alongside the corner of a wall beyond the stairs that I was using.
When I saw her, I quickly moved towards her and decided to help her as she was looking very much poor and hungry. I went back to my room and put the bags. Then, I asked my aunt if there was any piece of bread present in the kitchen. She said yes there was a break. So, I made small pieces of that bread and put them in a plate.
When I was preparing the food for that cat, it was confirmed that she was mother cat because she was showing some symptoms that baby cats were about to took birth. Anyways, I filled the plate with the break pieces put the plate on the ground so that the cat could be able to eat them. As soon as I put the plate, she started eating the bread. I also captured a picture of it which is shared above.
I was feeling very much humble at that time. First of all, I thanked to Almighty Allah that he chosen me for this kind act because may be that cat was laying beside the wall for a long time and no one have seen her laying there hopelessly. Friends, we all know that animals are also the creatures of Almighty Allah.
Unfortunately, there are many animals which are left without any hope and they are roaming around in the streets or even at the roof of our houses so we should always took care of them and try our best to find such cases and treat them well. Animals are actually those creatures which respond us in the way we react to them if we are humble to them then they always show loyalty and faithfulness.
Off course, that act of kindness impacted me emotionally and I thanked Almighty Allah for giving me and opportunity to save the life of someone who was totally helpless. There is no involvement of financial aspects for anything like that in this act. Sometimes our little attention and care towards someone can save the lives of others so we should always grab such opportunities and took advantage of them.
There are many important lessons that I have learnt from that act of kindness and the most important of them are listed below.
We should take care of the non-domestic animals which are not adopted by someone as pets and feed them if we are feeling that there hungry.
Sometimes, our little abs can save the lives of others so we should never left such cases as it.
It is not obvious that only humans need our help. But at some point or other, the animals are also in our need so we should pay attention towards them.
There are many events or incidents that I have faced in my life when I felt that it was a kindness on others. The above mentioned event was the one which I rememberd at the time of making this post. As I have already said that animals are also creatures of Almighty God. So, you should also take care of them and find such cases and help them is possible in the best way.
It is my nature that I have a great love for the pets and animals. And if I find any animal or pet in difficulty or problem then I try my best to help them. Besides helping them, I also do various activities with them like playing with them, watching movies, etc. In the above picture, you can see that I was watching a movie with the little cat.
