Hi guys good morning, how was your night? guess it was beautiful.
Today I will talking on the importance of water for healthy living.

WHAT IS WATER?

Water is a transparent liquid that is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. it is one of the most indispensable minerals that assist in sustaining lives. It is made up of chemical elements which are Hydrogen and Oxygen, which can exist in liquid, solid, and gaseous states.
Water is required for the survival of every living element.

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER TO THE BODY?
Water is vital to the body in many ways, of which I will be listing but a few.

  1. water aids digestion:- drinking sufficient water while eating will help the body in breaking down food to absorb nutrients and water aids in moistening food.

  2. water enables the removal of waste products through urination, defecation, and perspiration:- it helps the kidney in the production of urine and also breaks down foods.

  3. water helps to dissolve minerals and nutrients to make them accessible to the body.

  4. water aid to ameliorate weight:- drinking enough water helps in the reduction of calorie intake.
    •it assists the body in burning fat.
    •it helps in enhancing metabolism.

  5. water supports the kidney and liver to function appropriately.
    •It defends against the storage of waste products and excess fluid in the body.
    •drinking enough water will help to prevent urinary tract infections.
    •It helps to curb kidney stones.

  6. water aid hydration:- drinking enough water helps to improve mood and give quality sleep.

  7. water helps in fighting illness and it assists the body in circulating blood and fighting infections.

HOW TO KNOW YOU ARE NOT TAKING ENOUGH WATER.
Many Nigerians today find It difficult to drink enough water, they only take water when they feel the need to and this should not be so.
they are several signs to infer that you are not taking enough water and they are

  1. Dry skin.
  2. smelly and yellowish urine.
  3. thirst sensation.
  4. headache.
  5. lack of focus.
  6. lack of energy.
  7. absence of urine.
  8. difficulty in breathing.

FOOD THAT CAN CONSTITUTE INTAKE OF WATER.
Aside from drinking water, they are other food, that can make up the input of water, and they are:-

  1. orange
  2. watermelon
  3. cucumber
  4. peaches
  5. strawberries
  6. tomatoes
  7. soups
  8. oatmeal
  9. spinach
  10. carrot
  11. celery e.t.c
