EMERGENCY THAT NEEDS ATTENTION BY @ubongudofot

Assisting when there is an emergency is not an easy task, it calls for self-sacrifice, sometimes resources and time are involved.
Last week I got a complaint in my neighborhood that there is going to be a demolition of some business structures around government lands. Sadly, many users didn’t expect it to be so soon as the date was not announced yet. But unfortunately, it happens so suddenly. The whole place was demolished without the consent of the business operators. The sad part is that most of the people using there are very poor and they only survive with the little money they made from here. So early morning a bulldozer entered there and the whole structure was scattered, not just scattered, but with their working equipment’s inside were destroyed as well.

When I saw this, I felt so pity about this one, I was moved with tears, so I thought of what to do to assist these ones within my reach as they look so helpless. They were crying, asking where they are going to start from. Trust me, if you have been in this situation before you will understand what I mean.

I met a young man who uses photography to sustain and take care of his family, but unfortunately, his studio was demolished, he said he has used there for over 8years now. And today the studio was demolished, and people’s pictures were still inside the studio and it got spoilt after demolition. He felt so bad because he was supposed to deliver most of those pictures to their owners after editing them.

But now, those pictures are destroyed, he would have issues with the owners.
I assisted in clearing the place and also selecting some good woods for him. I also spoke to @usucces who stay with me about it and we are going to give him some money which is equivalent to 400 steem. That is just for support to assist him. And I told him, that if we have our next weekly meet-up with other steemians, that I am going to bring that to the notice of all the steemians, perhaps they would also assist.

This Man needs financial assistance, the wife just put to birth a few months ago and he has no money to take care of the family and this demolition of the studio also comes in. That is so difficult a situation to bear.

When we have our next meet-up with fellow steemians, I will discuss this with others so that we consider among ourselves how we can assist these ones. Even if not only assisting the man but also rendering assistance to others who used that same business environment.

For some time now, I want to engage myself in charity activities and also render assistance to my fellow human. That’s what we come to this world for, we are here for all of us.
I want to thank the @worldsmile and @adollaraday who have been actively supporting those in critical needs and I also want to thank them for all the support they are rendering to our brothers in the Philippines after the typhoon Odette, I want to thank @bien, @el-nailul , @klen.civil, @irawandedy, @anroja, @mariana4ve, @heriadi and @jonabeth, and all other steemians who render needed assistance in other to support the victims of this natural disaster. I also want to thank all those who have been updating us on how the relief materials for these victims are shared. We really appreciate you all from Nigeria.
Personally, I want to be assisting in situations like this.
I will update you all on the progress we have made so far in assisting these people who lose their business centers and their working tools.
