I bought fish from my co-worker's husband

Hello, everyone! I hope we are all in God's grace and mercy. Typhoon Tino is still rummaging the Philippines and yet another typhoon is yet to come on weekend and it was huge, it was very scary and I hop that God will cover us with His mighty hands and deliver us from all harm.

Anyway, let me share with you the happenings when I bought fish from my colleague's husband. Jenny's husband is a good fish keeper and when I was able to go to their house one time,I was amazed of how amazing their fish collection were and I took pictures to show them to my husband.

Back in our elementary days, my husband and I goes to the river behind our school to fetch water when whenever the water is low, we woudl take fish home and take care of them but sadly, both of us neither knows how to take great care of the fish and it all ended up dying.

Soon my husband revealed that he dreams to take care of fish, we both do and so we made it happened.

I was able to go to my general manager's farm one day and he had lots of fish there; he noticed I was a fan of fish and he decided to give me one and I really though it was a joke and then one day, he told me to prepare a fish tank because he is going to give me some the next day, and so he did.

Here are our preparations

The day before, the general manager from where I work for gave me two gold fishes. We put them in a tub and in the morning, the husband and I cleaned the fish tank/ aquarium so we could put them there. We de-chlorinated the water manually by letting it evaporate from the aquarium.

When my husband brought our eldest daughter to school, he bought fish food on his way back. One kilo is just 45 pesos, a little less than a dollar and I was thinking that they are too plenty for the two of them.

I had an extra 100 pesos so I decided to buy another set of fish from my co-worker; her husband does sell it though.

On my way to my workplace, I had to take a hike to where the passenger vehicles waited I saw this man in his old shirt. He must have loved this shirt so much to let it go. This made me remember a friend's story about her husband wearing such and was waiting for her outside in one of the malls in their area.

This man lives and works in the vulcanizing shop; it's their family business of ages, and that's his relative doing some work on one of the customer's tires.

Above me, I took a picture of the clouds in the sky. The one on the left was taken when I arrived at my workplace and the on on the right was taken while I was walking toward the waiting shed.

Time went by so fast. It was already 11 am when I finished my work on my table so I decided to take my lunch earlier so I will never bother my co-worker about it anymore. We took a 3-minute walk towards her house in the middle of the day and the sun was at its peak. When we arrived at their home, these three girls and the dog named pangit(ugly)w welcomed us.

Jenny went to her kitchen to eat and feed her daughter and I was busy watching her husband catching the fish. he had big hands but was gentle on the swimming fellas.
He had lots of different classes of fish but these little guys caught my attention. The males are smaller and is very colorful while the females are larger and just gray in color that I decide to name them peacock fish. lols. I don't know the names of the fish, really, don't take me seriously.

He sold me three different kind of fish, and the water grass that he was supposed to throw, I asked it from him so I could put them on my tank.

The fish was traumatized from the catching and they had a new environment inside the plastic bags so they got a little jumpy whenever they see movements coming their way.

Good thing I had a box of shoes and they fit very well.

I took them home with me that night and I was very excited to see them free from the plastic bags. We immediately transferred the two kinds to the tank where the goldfishes are and they seem happy .

For the little ones, we separated them because the goldfish might think that they are just food and probably eat them. Better be safe, right?

My kids were very excited to see the fish as well and I even kept the colorful fish indoors to see them multiply. I was very happy to see one female juvenile become a other but sadly, other bigger fish ate some of her fry, to them they are just food and it's sad.

Thank fully, some of them survived and they filled my fish tank until today.
