Hello, Steemit family. It's time for movie review.

Over the weekend, I watched a movie or should I call it a series? The series caught my attention so much and I will like to give my honest opinion about the movie.

WAR: WRATH AND REVENGE.

The story follows Nuhu Bula, a rising politician proposing to become governor of the fictional state of Kowa, with his wife Binta pulling strings behind the scenes. But when the husband plans to marry a second wife, Binta's anger leads to chaos, mixing politics, betrayal, revenge.

One of the things that caught my attention in the movie is the high value production; clean cinematography, beautiful Hausa-inspired costumes that show power and prestige, and the mix of political schemes with personal drama. It's not just another Nollywood series, it feels so good, like a true Netflix original that blends suspense, moral and cultural authenticity.

And I must say it, the characters absolutely ate without leaving crumbs! The acting is top-tier, everyone brings intensity and depth. Rahama Sadau and Mofe Duncan have great chemistry, making their toxic power couple dynamic feel real. The cast delivers performance that keeps you glued to your screen.

LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE SERIES

The series shows how uncontrolled ambition, betrayal, and revenge destroy lives and communities. It shows the dark side of politics, how power corrupts, how personal grudges mix with public schemes, and how far people go for love, status, or control. A big I learnt from the series was that revenge do not always ends well, it leads to more pain.

SPECIAL REVIEW AND RATING.

The only shortcoming of the movie, and I wish I could change if I have the power is definitely the rushed plot points in some episodes; characters making obvious mistakes for the sake of drama, for example poor security on key items. It feels like common sense is sacrificed for twists of plots, and it breaks the flow of the movie as some points.

Critics and viewers praise the acting, visuals, and intrigue. For me, it's a solid show with strong female characters and real social commentary on politics and banditry in Northern Nigeria.

IMDB rating is 7.7/10, but I will rate it a solid 8.5/10. It's gripping, stylish, and thought-provoking, it's a must-watch for Nollywood lovers. EbonyLife and Netflix both delivered quality!
