Desert wildflowers starting to bloom
Well winter has passed and the warming weather combined with some much needed precipitation has awakened the arid landscape to awaken and bring forth the wildflowers.

While I'm familiar with the bright red Indian Paintbrush (Castilleja coccinea) the other (mostly) small flowers are unknown to me.
Still, the bright colors dotting this normally arid and brown landscape is truly wonderful and makes my daily run or hike on the trails that much more enjoyable.
Hope you all enjoyed this little photographic trek.
