The story was going well and my emotions were getting high until I got to the point where the police and inmates assaulted the autorickshaw driver.
You see, this is wrong by all standards. That was a case of assault between the driver and the lady. Globally, the police is required to investigate the issue and charge the matter to court if need be. Or just resolve things amicably with both parties since both of them were wrong.
They have no business assaulting accused persons. That's infringing on their fundamental human rights to fair hearing, personal liberty and dignity of the human person.
You wouldn't advocate for this to be a norm. Because if the police is allowed to beat up people at will, you could end up at the station due to false accusation and return with only two teeth left, that's after they discover that you were innocent this whole time.
This is why we have laws prohibiting extra-judicial treatments. It is high time citizens know their rights.
Hahahaha, sounds funny because the love for money rules out human right from time to time.personally i would prefer my peace of my mind depending on the country am dealing with.Before the police gives a fair hearing you must be in their station and once you get there you can't come out leaving nothing behind.Talking about handing over the matter to court i won't advise anyone to desire such after my experience with court unless if you have excess financial strength.thanks @ahbaz for your time

It can be frustrating. But I believe ADR can sort things out easily.
