The Diary Game: Going To Market And Cooking (06-02-2026)
Mummy's duty got activated early today and I told my hubby that I will go to the market to buy foodstuffs. When he dropped the money for the food stuffs, I took them and got dressed then I left the house to the market so that I can buy the foodstuffs and come back home to prepare the food on time.
I got to the market and I bought the following items;
• Afang leaves
• Palm oil
• Fresh pepper
• Dried fish
• Seasoning cubes
• Garri
• Cow skin

The food items I bought from the market
When I washed the afang, I dried them outside and when they dried, I began to chop them. After that, I took the manual grinding machine and began to dry the afang leaves till they were all grinded very well. I began to cook the soup and before 1pm, I was done, although I was very tired after I finished cooking because I did it all by myself.
When I finished cooking and eating, I dished and took to my hubby's shop and gave to him to eat then I came back home to prepare so that I could go and pick my son up from school. I think he was actually waiting for me to come and when I got to his school, I picked him up and went back home.
When we got back to the house, I bathed him and gave him the soup for lunch and so, I allowed him to sleep small because he had about 5 assignments to do. His class teacher really wants his pupils to be engaged during the week and I like it.
When he woke up and I helped him with the first assignment, the second one, I didn't want to bother him much, so I allowed him go out and play with his friends because he still have the weekend to do all his assignments. I went outside and water the little cough plant by my lobby.

About to water the cough plant
In the evening, I warmed the food and gave to my son and also ate it because my hubby didn't come back from work early so I couldn't wait and I had to eat. When I finished eating, I bathed and just as I wanted to start writing, my hubby came back and I gave him his food and then I began to write.
