The Diary Game: A Day Of Hectic Chores (18-03-2026)

@heluxe here, my friends. How are you all doing? You know what today is? Today was clean up in the house. I didn't sew today because I had so many things to do inside the house. I started by washing all the plates in the house including the coolers. They were much because cockroaches had really gotten into so many of them, they made the plates their dwelling place and I had to stop that.

After washing the plates, I removed the mattresses and also the bed frames and then I swept under the bed and everywhere in the house. After sweeping, I used brush to make sure I removed all the cobwebs in the house. This was so stressful to do but I didn't want to procrastinate any longer.

I went and took mop, I also fetched water from the bathroom and then I added detergent and the I began to mop the tiles. I used hypo bleach and the tiles were sparkling even when I didn't even finish with the clean up.

A very tiring chores was what I did today. After the cleanup and making sure the house maintains it good shape. I still had so many clothes in the laundry room to wash and fix up. So, I took the clothes and then I began to wash them. By this time, my waist was like it was pulling off, but I just wanted to finish everything so that I can rest at once.

Washing of clothes do take so much time, at least with the kind of washing I do. I washed the clothes till mid afternoon and when I finished, I dried them outside so that the hot sun will dry them. I was so tired at this point. I had to rest very small on bed.

I didn't even bath by this time of the day, so I took out the whole time and then I bathed and then I came to sit outside because of how hot inside was. I sat there and I noticed my daughters school bus dropped her off. She came back home and then I gave her lunch to eat. I gave her rice to eat.

I asked my daughter to come so that I can bath her and also make sure she sleep before evening. Evening we were going to do her assignments and not just her assignment, I was also going to weave her hair. I heard tomorrow and the next is public holiday also.

After that, I went to the store and removed beans then I began to prepare beans for dinner. If you are a lover beans, you will know that beans do take time before they get done. I started early and before 7pm, I was done.

I have raw pap in the house, so I washed it and sieved it then I made pap, added sugar and milk to it. This is one of my daughter's favourite. I told her to eat that I needed to clean up where I stood to cook. I did that and then I bathed again for the night.

I later joined her to eat and after we finished the food, I added more to the plate and we finished it. I kept for my husband that when he came back from work, the first thing I have him was his food and he ate and appreciated me.
