The Diary Game: Morning Rest, Preparing Atama Soup (16-05-2026)

@heluxe here, guys. How are you all doing? It's been a while I came here, it's just that I have been offline busy and putting things in order. So, today, when I woke up, I stayed out at the corridor, I had already prepared breakfast for my husband to eat and go to work, as for my daughter, she was still asleep and so, I didn't bother much because she doesn't eat cold food. When I left, I washed my face in the bathroom and then I came outside.

I wore my clothes and then I went to the market that's just a stone throw from where I stay. When I got there, I bought items like atama, water leaf and the rest so that I can come and prepare atama soup. My husband's favourite food is atama so since it's been long I prepared this at home, I thought of doing it for us to eat. When I came back home, I removed the items I bought from the market.

So, I selected the Atama leaves and then I washed them before I dried them. After drying, I began to chop them into tiny pieces. You know one thing about atama leave is that, you can't pound it, so you will have to take your time to chop them into the very tiniest pieces as you can. After I finished, I boiled water to wash it .

Somehow, people do ask why we prefer using hot water to wash atama, it's because naturally, atama leaves are very bitter and sticky, so you need to use hot water to wash it so that the bitterness can reduce to the bear minimum and also the stickiness.

After I finished cooking, I dished the food and made garri, me and my daughter ate it together. I know she also loves it, especially as it is being prepared by the best num in the world. I love it.

When we finished eating, I bathed her again and then I gave her the tab to use while I cleaned up the kitchen and also went to the laundry room to wash the remaining clothes I couldn't wash yesterday. After that, I took my bath.

When I finished, I wen to where my machine was and then I began to sew the clothes I was to complete for the week. I started sewing by 3pm in the afternoon and after that, I took my bath and then I went to go and join my daughter to rest. I was so tired after I finished sewing the clothes and I needed to just put my back on the ground.

When I finished, I took the raw fufu and then I began to wash it. I sieved it at the same time to remove the chaff so I could have a clear starch. After that, I put it on fire and began to stir it till it became a solid fufu. I took it down and used that to serve my family for swallow.

When I finished, I took my bath as I was sweating profusely. When I finished taking my bath, I sat on the couch while waiting for my husband, I began to write because I would need to sleep on time so that I will wake up early tomorrow to prepare and go to church.
