The Diary Game: Cake, Shawarma And Birthday Preparation(08:05:2026)

It's my dad's birthday today so my brother and I went to pick up the cake we had booked for our dad, we went there by 11am but before leaving the house, I did other things like sweeping, mopping and cooking. The plan was to do a simple indoor birthday party for dad so I boiled rice and microwaved the stew we had in the fridge and that's what we ate as breakfast before I took my bath and left with my brother to pick up the cake.

I had looked for an opportunity like this so I could go buy the shawarma I had collected money from my school mom for, I had told her some days ago that I'm craving shawarma and she sent me three thousand five hundred naira to buy one for myself. So as we got, I ordered for a pack of shawarma first and ate while waiting for my brother to pick the design he needed, I allowed him to pick since he's a man and it's my dad's birthday so he'd pick something that will meet my dad's taste.

We returned home and I remembered the event I have on Sunday so I went into my room and searched for an outfit I'll wear to the event and when I made my choice, I saw it was dirty so I took it outside and gave it a quick wash and hanged it to sun-dry. I went to my room to relax that afternoon and prolly see a movie but mom called and asked me to go and buy Editan leaf from the market so we will use it to make soup very early tomorrow morning.

I left to the market but first stopped at a POS stand to withdraw the money my mom sent for the item before walking down to my mom's customer's stall to buy the Editan leaf from her and immediately I finished buying other items I was sent too, I returned home and had my nap. I woke up in the evening and checked the time to know if dad would be returning soon and saw that it was almost time for his return so I went to the parlour and sat, awaiting dad's return so we could give him a surprise. While waiting, I decided to write my diary so I'll only have to post it with I'm done with my dad's birthday bash. Thanks Pookies, byyyyeeee.
