The Diary Game: My Unplanned Busy Day—Morning Wahala And Evening Cassava(27:02:2026)

Hi Pookies, I am Happiness Effiong with @inemghurrl as my steemit username. Somehow I feel people should know their boundaries, I was honestly unhappy with my neighbor this morning when she knocked on my door and woke me up to make her child's hair before she leaves to school. I opened up to her about how I dislike what she just did and she apologized, saying she didn't have any other option because the baby was crying while she tried to comb her hair and she thought of just weaving for her so she could carry it to school but was unable to do that so she had to engage me.
a guy who came looking for an apartment with his pet
I was inside crying when I heard someone saying hello, I went outside again to check who it was and I saw this strange guy with a pet and I greeted him and how I may be of help and he said he needed an apartment and also asked if there's any vacant self con for rent in our compound, I told him there was none available for now but I directed him to a compound I knew had a vacant apartment for rent which wasn't too far from my house. He thanked me and left and I went back inside and continued sweeping.
native food
Mom talked about her craving this morning and I somehow wish she would just make s little portion of the meal she was craving just for herself and let us eat what we wanted but that wasn't possible. She left the house and returned with a big bunch of banana which I peeled and grated and she prepared óto mboro a native delicacy. I like the fact that she made it very oily though I still added more oil to be able to eat the food, it's always delicious no doubt but I don't like eating it more than once in a day. I took my bath and had some rest after I finished with kitchen activities.

In the evening, my dad returned from the farm with cassava. My brother and I peeled them, boiled some for tapioca(African salad) and soaked some so that it will be used in processing fufu. I was very tired when I finished, I took my bath and went to the parlour to relax and watch movie since we had light. I've been watching movie since 7pm and I realized that time was far spent but I was yet to write my diary and I had to quickly do that. Thanks Pookies, byyyyeeee.
