The Diary Game: Attending Sunday Service And Visiting My Mother(18-01-2026)

Happy Sunday to you my beloved Steemit family.
Today, I woke up with aches because I did a whole lot of work yesterday. From laundry to shopping and then cooking. I also went out to meet someone for an important engagement. I slept late and the weather wasn't even friendly at night.

I started preparing for church early because I had some duties to perform in the church. I'm a member of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria and also an active member of the Women's guild. And so we decided that on every third Sunday of the month we'll be tying double wrapper by with head gear, just to bring the culture of our mothers back and this was me, looking so gorgeous

I came back from church and had to prepare meals. My husband has been craving for tigernut juice and I decided to prepare it today. Tigernut drink or juice is good for the body. The juice is a combination of tigernut, dates, coconut, ginger, banana. It's a natural stabilizer and it's also my family's delight.

I decided to make the main meal for the day which is Rice and egg stew. My family enjoys eating Rice based meals on Sundays afternoon and I try as much as I can to give them different varieties each time. Though there are some Sundays we eat other meals but today got us like this.

I'd already planned to visit my mother today because we stay in the same town. I rested a while and stood up, showered and was off to my mom's place. I couldn't stay there for a long time because I still had undone things to tidy up at home but was eventually glad that I went and met her in good health.This week promises to be great for us in Steemit.
