The Diary Game: Our Company's Appraisal Meeting (10-01-2026)

Hello everyone. It's @mamauduak again and today, I'm going to be sharing my diary with you. Despite the fact that I slept late yesterday because of an All-night event that I attended, I still managed to wake up by 5am to make breakfast and to prepare for an Appraisal Meeting in my work place today. After making breakfast, I had my bath, ate and left for work. This appraisal meeting is to be held in all the State where we have our branches and the one for Akwa Ibom State was going to be held in our branch, where all the workers in the State will meet.

When I got there, there was no one yet. Immediately after I finished praying, one of my colleagues came and we cleaned and arranged the whole office together and it was set. After some minutes, workers started trooping in and after some time we waited for our manager to arrive.

After the opening prayer, I led in praise and worship, the meeting began fully. The aim of the meeting is to check how well each branch did last year and if each branch had met up with it own target and also give each branch a new target for this year. Fortunately, there were only two branches that had met up with their target and mine was one of them and we received our reward in cash. I and two other men received an award for being the Best Credit Officers for last year. It was such a wonderful moments.

After that, the target for the year was given to us and we also discussed about the company's weaknesses and strength. We came up with our suggestions and views. It was an interactive meeting. The manager also transferred certain people. We had refreshment and closed.

On my way back, I went to the market to buy some few items for soup. When I got there, my customer whom I normally get Oyster from did not have it , she said she was going to have it on Tuesday. Still confused on what to buy, I got a call from my husband, asking me to prepare Afang soup, so I some items for the soup and left the market. Although I was very tired, but the work was made easier and faster for me by my beautiful daughters and in less than an hour, the soup was ready.

Dinner

Immediately after eating, I went to bed..i was extremely exhausted. My children were still in the sitting room seeing a movie with their father. That is how my day was, thank you very much for reading.
