The Diary Game: |25/12/2025| A Christmas To Remember

It was a Christmas to remember, I had reached out to my steemit mentor and asked him if I should write on Christmas day, so he advised I should take a break and that was great because I had other engagements. Firstly, I had to cook fried rice for myself and my friend, remember I came here since Wednesday to come and spend the rest of the Christmas and remaining day with him.

After I finished cooking, he told me to dish our own and keep aside then dish out the other parts and give to our neighbours. This man is so intentional about giving, and that's one reason I love him. I dished the food out and gave to the neighbours, they were so happy to receiving it.

When I finished with that, I came back inside and we ate the one I kept at home. After eating, we went to church together and there was a second mass for the day so we went and attended the second mass. The mass was a 2 hours service so that people that had one thing or the other to do will have time to.

On our way back from the church, we branched the market and bought chickens, we bought two chickens so that one will be used on Christmas day and the other one would be used on New year day. So after the chicken was slaughtered there, we took them back home. I couldn't do anything when we came back so I decided to rest and watch movie.

I rested throughout that afternoon and by 4pm, I stood up and began to prepare the chicken. That was what w were going to eat for dinner as my friend had already told me not to stress much about what we were going to eat. I prepared the chicken, fried it and then I brought it to the living room and we ate it together accompanied by a very chilled drink he brought back from outside the country.

After that, the hair I pad for had arrived, I really wanted to surprise him because he told me last week that he wants to get his dreadlock extended and he was looking for where to buy original locked hair. I saw it online and I paid for it and yesterday, it was delivered to me, I gave it to him and his reaction was priceless, like I bought the whole world for him. I love seeing him in such mood and I was happy I was able to surprise him.

After that, we continued with the movie we didn't finish before I stood up to go and prepare food. After that, I brought meatpie and ice cream so we eat as it was 10pm here. We ate it and that was the last thing we ate for our Christmas day.

After eating our last meal, I called my parents and talked to them and also talked to my siblings and his parents before I bathed to go and sleep. I thank God for the grace to see another beautiful year and also giving me the grace to celebrate Jesus birth. Thank you my friends for having me, hoping to cross over to 2026 with you all.
