My 2025 Christmas cooking preparation [22/12/2025]

in Ladies Universelast month

It was Monday, December 22nd, 2025, and the excitement of Christmas was palpable in the air. As a devout Christian, I looked forward to this special holiday with great enthusiasm. That year, I had decided to cook a traditional Christmas meal of rice and stew, but I didn't want to leave all the cooking for Christmas Day itself. So, I planned ahead and decided to cook a delicious Afang soup two days before Christmas.

As I chopped the vegetables and stirred the pot, the aroma of the Afang soup filled my kitchen, tantalizing my taste buds. I couldn't wait to share it with my loved ones. Christmas, after all, is a season of love and sharing.

As the soup cooked to perfection, I couldn't help but think about the true spirit of Christmas. It's a time when Christians come together to share what they have with others, spreading love, kindness, and generosity. I felt grateful for the opportunity to share my delicious Afang soup with my neighbors.

As we sat down to eat together, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and camaraderie. We savoured each mold of the Afang soup, enjoying the flavours and textures. The soup was a hit, and everyone left the table feeling satisfied and content.

As I looked around at the smiling faces of my neighbors, I felt a sense of joy and fulfillment. This was what Christmas was all about - sharing love, kindness, and delicious food with those around us. And as we parted ways, I knew that that Christmas would be one to remember, thanks to the simple act of sharing a delicious meal together.
