My name is Purity Okon known on steemit as @ purityy, I have always been afraid of the dark, especially when I heard scary stories or watched horror movie, I don't sleep alone at night except the light is on even when the light is ON am always still scared, the went on to the point that if am sent on an errand at night in the room I will be scared to go alone except any of my siblings join me, to walk on the road too at night was a big problem, what worsen It was when I start having weird imagination about ghost, and when I saw people die, it was always as if they are in the dark,

that alone scared the life out of me, if I sleep at night with someone I don't want to open my eyes or want to wake up at night maybe to pee or anything because anytime I wake I will start imagining things, it was bad that I wanted to see a therapist for help, but I couldn't because I was afraid I will be shout on or embarrassed, but slowly I overcame it, thankfully today I can sleep in the dark alone, wake up at night, I now love dark room now, even when there's NEPA light I will off it.
