The Diary Game: Market And Kitchen Goals(12-12-2025)

Very early in the morning yesterday, I went out in search of coconut. The boy who had promised to help me pluck our coconut the previous day didn't show up again despite all efforts to reach him. The first store I went to pecked their price at seven hundred naira each and it was too high for me so I went to the market, knowing I'll find it cheaper there.

I found medium size for four hundred naira each at the market I went to and I bought four of it and also bought rice and fresh pepper before going home. At home, I changed into something lighter and went into the kitchen to cook. I peeled the coconut and used grater to grate the coconut into tiny pieces before boiling water to pour into the grated coconut and extract the milk. The process was not easy but as a home girl who's used to it, it was as simple as ABC.

I parboiled the rice and extracted the milk into a big pot and added some seasonings and fish and I remembered that it would taste nicer with ginger and garlic so I went out to buy them. I wonder them alongside crayfish which I still added into the post before adding rice the last and gave it a quick stir before placing the pot on fire. Food was ready and I served myself alongside a chilled bottle of coca cola drink.

I took my drugs after eating and that was the end for the malaria dosage and a new chapter to take the multivitamins as I was instructed. I slept for three hours and woke up to play woke with my neighbor's kids. Sadly, the least person expected to win in the game was actually the first to become a champion in the game. The game ended with me topping the chart as the overall winner. I walked down with my roommate to fetch water later in the evening.

I was still outside receiving fresh air that evening when Nepa brought the light and I ran inside to charge my phone. The room was so hot that I began to sweat, I snapped before taking off my phone and lying on the tiles. I wasn't sure if what to do next so I began to watch movie until my course mate called to remind me of her marriage introduction next week and I was now caught between thoughts if the outfit to rock.
