The Diary Game: [22-03-2026] An Uplighting And Blessed Sunday

Hello Steemit audience, It's me @quinnesther again. A Blessed Sunday to you all. I am officially know as Esther Ndarake and I joined the platform yesterday through the help of my mentor @purityy. Today's Sunday and as a girl who grew up in a Christian home, it is mandatory to be in church so I've grown to master this pattern in that even as I'm living alone, I still keep to the routine. No wonder the Bible says "Train up a child in a way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Ready for church service

I woke up early by seven o'clock in the morning to prepare for church service because my church service starts by nine o'clock but as a worker, I'm expected to be in church before 9am. Since I'm living alone and in a small apartment, I didn't have much domestic chores to do so I just handled the little ones I had which was sweeping the room and making breakfast. I wasn't preparing a new meal though cos I had a leftover spaghetti I prepared yesterday so I only had to warm it and eat before going to church.

Breakfast

I got to church very early and helped out in cleaning and arranging the chairs in both the main auditorium and overflow before I got my tag and stood by the door where I was officiating as an usher. In the afternoon, we dismissed and I went home to relax after standing for straight two hours. When I got home, I couldn't eat cos I wasn't hungry so I just took my bath and laid down on my carpet to sleep as the room was too hot for me to lie on the bed.

Reading for my exams

I couldn't sleep for long as I kept seeing myself in the exams hall while sleeping so I had to wake up and read for my exams. I read and also answered some questions from the past questions I had gotten from my senior colleagues. I took a pause when my former roommate came to the house to visit me, she brought a plate of food and hollandia yoghurt for me and I was very excited about her visit.

We talked for a while and she informed me about her decision to leave the hostel because of the teriible encounter she has experienced, I wish I didn't have another roommate, I should've given her access to live with me again but I couldn't help and I felt bad about it. When she left, I sat outside and brain stormed on how the second post I will make here will look like not until my mentor sent me an example of the post to make and I got into work immediately. Here's the fee details of my day, can't wait to bring another gist tomorrow.
