Contest : Tell your story #70: war and peace
Hello my dear Steemians,
This week had positive e vent because it was New Year, we are starting 2026, everyone is very excited about what will come and we all plan for us what we are going to do.
For us, it is winter and it is white winter days we have cold weather and in some areas of UK like more in North already snowy days.
When I was starting to plan my post I was going to write about the winter and how beautifully it looks but today since the morning hours we hear about the military operation of USA in Venezuela, over night hours there were few helicopters seen in the sky and later on in all the news it was mentioned that the President of Venezuela Madoura and his wife were dragged from their house, handcuffed and on the way to USA to be charged.
Of course, for everyone that was unexpected step, especially when one bigger country decides to withdraw the Head of country and as it was announced in the press conference by Trump he said that for now USA is taking over the governance of country and also that Oil companies will take over the oil industry in Venezuela till the new government is build. He did not speak about time how much it takes. From what we have seen last weeks and months Trump was already preparing for this step, as he mobilised the military ships at the border to country and actually everyone was seeing that it is going to happen that Trump just will take control of Venezuela.
*Having seen that all other countries need to be in alert condition because we hear about his wish to take over Greenland but also that he threatens Iran. Who knows what will be happening, it feels nobody and no country is safe from Trump and his stupid ideas. *
The leaders of countries need to unite and make sure that it is not everything is allowed to do for a person like Trump. It is new year and only what I wish to everyone is to be kind and patient with each other and let’s keep peace for everyone, we human all want just live and enjoy this short time that is given for us on this Earth.
