Curiously, this lovely lagoon bears a striking resemblance to one of the lagoons on São Miguel Island, in the Azores — the place from which I am writing. The similarity is truly remarkable and makes your photograph even more interesting to me! What a beautiful place! They are undoubtedly very similar, even in the color of the water, which could only be seen in the original photo!
