Movie Talk -- Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)
Fantastic Mr. Fox is a stop-motion animation film by Wes Anderson, based on the children's novel by Roald Dahl. Despite giving the viewer an unsettling feeling due to the appearance of the characters, who look like taxidermy come back to life, the movie is pretty awesome. It is, simply put, fantastic.
George Clooney does the voice for Mr. Fox, an ambitious fox who settles into a life in journalism after his pregnant wife, voiced by Meryl Streep, demands that he gives up the dangerous life of stealing chickens.
Now the father of a son named Ash and temporary caretaker of his nephew Kristofferson, Mr. Fox decides to take on one final heist, a three-part job, from the ruthless farmers Boggis, Bunce, and Bean.
With the help of a Badger, he robs the farmers, one at a time. Boggis, Bunce, and Bean team up to try to take down the thieving animals and their families, and the battle of wits that ensues is a delightful film to watch. I hope you check it out .
