Rank 2 against Xylem, Hari Raid

Today I was not planning to play Hari Raid. My day was little busy and I felt tired. I thought maybe I should rest. But after some time I picked up my phone and opened the game. I am really glad I did. The first thing I heard was the background music. I still enjoy it every time. It gives me good feeling. It makes game look bigger and more exciting. Sometimes music changes the whole mood and I think Hari Raid did a good job with it.

I pressed the play button and went into the battle. I always start with summoning cards. This part is full of surprise. I keep looking at every card and hope for better numbers. Today my first cards were not very strong. I laughed a little and said to myself maybe luck is sleeping today. I did not waste much time. I pressed the reroll button. I was hoping for something better. After few seconds new cards appeared. This time I was happy because the numbers were much stronger. It felt nice. Small things like this make me enjoy the game even more.

Then I start playing. Battle started. Xylem was standing in front of me. I still think this monster is very strong. It does not look easy at all. Every attack feels like a real challenge. I kept watching its power going down little by little. It was slow but I did not mind. Slow progress is still progress. After few battles I checked my Daily Tasks. I had completed some of them already. Seeing those completed marks made me smile. I always feel good when I finish my daily goals. It gives me reason to come back the next day.

I also looked at my profile. I am now on Level 20. Reaching this level took me many days. There were times when I thought the next level was too far. But I kept playing. Now I feel proud every time I see that number. Before closing the game I visited the leaderboard. My rank is 02. I know it is not a top position. But honestly I am still happy. Every player starts somewhere. I believe if I keep playing my rank will become better one day. I am not in hurry. What I like most about Hari Raid is that it never feels completely same. Every day brings something different. Sometimes I get lucky cards. Sometimes reroll saves your game. Sometimes one attack does better than expected. These little moments make every session interesting.

Hari Raid also taught me one simple thing. Never stop because of one bad round. If cards are weak you can try again. If one attack is not enough you can attack again. That small lesson is useful outside the game too. When I finished playing today I felt relaxed. My mind was fresh and I was smiling. That is why I keep coming back to Hari Raid. It is simple. It is fun. And every time I play it gives me one more good memory.
