As Always Congratulations to the winners.

To nobody surprise @ReneRondon is the winner easily almost doubling the field. Congrats to jeanjarrgh for very good tournament play and second place. XM9000 return this week with another very good performance and third pace.

NOTE: There was a very good turnout for @schamangerbert Saturday steem chess tournament and I believe many would like this tournament to continue. Both tournaments are growing and they both are offering fun, more competition and a great learning situation.

MY EVALUATION

I happy to report an evaluation of my play this week. In spite of all the lost games my chess play has improved greatly. I am actually playing with more confidence leisurely inside of the blitz time limits. Of course I don’t expect to win many games in this tournament blundering pieces away in almost every game.

@eniolw didn’t play the whole tournament but did offer a draw in a winning game, after I blunder but I don’t think anyone deserves any mercy for bad chess play (lol) :). I feel confidence that this very forgetful stage that I am in will pass soon. Just like my chess pieces I can’t possible keep up with my reading glasses, keys or phone.
