Congratulation to @renerondon who came late to the tournament and still distance the entire field with a 100% win rate
My Evaluation
The Steemchess is in it third round but the time differences is causing problems for some players. The tournament started with four players and the late start probably affected everyone except maybe @renerondon. @eniolw didn't join the tournament in enough time for any tournament games.
As for my play I started out with a good focus but could not maintain it for the full hours. I was very disappointed with my pieces give away more so than any losses. You only have to take a quick look at the participants list to see that it was a strong field. While my level of play fits my current chess rating, I am looking forward to playing a lot better.
I hope we can maintain this level or greater participation in the tournaments. While you have to win against the best players to win the tournament a bigger field seem to favor everyone.
I could not help viewing the top rate games a little during the tournament and there were some really great games.

Stay calm, move quickly but don't hurry too much. Stop any mouse slips, I have already replace the batteries in my wireless mouse but the mouse may need to be replaced.
I do realize that no strategy is really needed:
I through away my mouse without wire, only with wire you get the always working mouse :)
Well that’s interesting, I can’t bear to use a wired mouse. However I am now more incline to believe that some of my mouse slips are a result of me getting over excited. Most of my mouse slip happens when I have a checkmate or a clear capture of my opponent queen. Trying to move to quickly and turn the button lose to soon, it’s crazy especially after a hard fought game.
