Unsolved mystery of sheep walking in circles in China

A mysterious phenomenon happening in China since November 4 has puzzles scientists. In China's inner Mongolia region, a flock of sheep has been recorded on camera walking in circles for more than 12 days per the report by People's Daily, China.

According to the farm owner, Miao, it started with a few sheep walking in circles. Then many other sheep joined the flock. It is not clear whether they are stopping to eat/drink.

Some experts believe that this could happen due to a bacterial disease named listeriosis.

Usually, the animal dies within 48 hours if infected by listeriosis, but these sheep are circling for more than 12 days. Therefore, the mystery is still unsolved.
