Description: "An intimidating yet sociable flying crow could break the stereotype we have for the beautiful bird in real life. Crows and ravens are normally associated with misfortune and darkness, even though are one of the most intelligent and playful birds. Their dark side has been amplified in movies and web series like Game of Thrones."

Concept designer Amin Akhshi aims to design a series of bionic birds, and the Hooded Crow is the first one he’s created in the collection. The robotic bird has peculiar awe to it, and in a way does away with the fear element we normally associate with the crows. The aim of this flying machine has something to do with the reconnaissance and rescue missions (in my purview) as it is loaded with cameras and sensors. One can say it is an advanced drone but more captivating to look at.

As a concept design, I'm not clear whether a flying prototype has actually been built, but it's certainly an elegant looking design. I ran some YouTube searches and didn't find anything on this particular robot, but I did find a 2011 TED Talk: A robot that flies like a bird, by Markus Fischer:

And this 2020 video, Amazing Flying Robots you must see from AwesomeTech:

So, it seems that the idea is definitely possible.

It is true, crows have always represented something bad, there is even a saying that says, raise crows and they will gouge out your eyes, it means that your children and when they grow up they keep everything of yours use these animals (robot) in search and rescue, what better use than this for these animals of bad omens

This bird looks like a real bird. Amazing. When it flies in the sky, it catches the eye.

Choosing the crow is successful in animal selection. Because it is a clever bird and will experience many misfortunes. It will be identified with the drone.
