Greetings everyone. We know that the prices of steem and SBD has seriously dropped lately as compared to before. So today we will be looking at the current price of steem and SBD from coinmarketcap.

So first on your search bar, type coinmarketcap and search. Then on the homepage of coinmarketcap you can search for any coin there.

STEEM

Lets begin with Steem, after clicking the search bar, type steem and click on it when it comes up on the list.

Now the next page will be showing steemprice, low ask, high ask and rank. But we are looking for steem price and presently it is $0.3633 which we will round up to $0.36

Steem price is also found on the home pages some of our steem tools like on steemyy.com and steemscan.com.

Calculation of steem in local currency

So i am in Cameroon and the currency used is FCFA. Presently, 1 dollar is 597.35frs.

So 1 steem will be 0.36×597.35 = 215.046frs, we round this figure to be 1 steem = 215frs = 0.36USD.

STEEM DOLLARS(SBD)

Again we go to coinmarketcap.com and on the search bar, type steem dollars and click on it when it appears.

Now the next page comes with the price of one steem dollar(SBD) in dollars. As seen, one SBD is equal to $4.39

Calculation of SBD in local currency

As seen above, 1 dollar is equal to 597.35frs.

So 1SBD will be 4.39×597.35 = 2622.3665frs and now rounding it will mean 1SBD = 2622frs = 4.39USD
