The way we view things can be different from each other, and this does not mean one party is wrong or right, it just has to be seen in a broader sense. Which is why I made use of two definitions from various source.
Marketing is good for business. It is essential in the advertising of the business and creation of awareness too. It showcases the business to its customers and potential customers too.
Although, marketing is mostly a business language. It also goes beyond business and encompasses other phases in life too.
You can market your gifts and talents, ideas can also be marketed. A lot of other things too, you just have to figure it out.
