Extinction is simply the state of ceasing to exist, and for the time being there is only one thing or maybe animal that I can say I know is on extinction. There might be others but common knowledge shows that dinasours and it's kind have walked upon the earth a while back and are no more existing.

The definition of extinction is quite elaborate in some cases where they classified the death of a person as also being extinct, and in this case those that have gone before are gone for good. You cannot see them or contact them too.
