I can read your emotions. Indeed, death in young age is great tragedy but then we have those people who are old and who are near to death; they also look at the young ones and say I, too, was young once.
Death is always an abyss that the human mind tries to grasp but cannot not accpet as something 'natural.' I lost my 100-year old grandmother last August and I feel her loss daily. It still doesn't feel right no matter what.
I really feel sympathize for your loss. May God give you patience to endure this pain .
