I survive out of pure anxiety?

To me, anxiety is not the same as angst or fear. Anxiety is permanent, a fear that will always accompany someone and influences behaviour. The result: precautions are taken, and one starts behaving differently and not doing certain things anymore. This doesn't mean this is a bad thing. If afraid of drowning the quality of life isn't worse if not going to the pool. If afraid of walking the streets late at night a solution can be found (not an unreal fear) and those who are afraid of flying will simply not travel by plane. As human beings, we are capable of living a full life without being persuaded to participate in all kinds of daredevil that feel uncomfortable to us. There is no reason to be tempted to dive off a bridge into the river. Many times this kind of daredevilry is something for extroverts.

Anxiety is the fear ruling your life 24/7.
You will always be alert and aware of a certain danger. This danger can be real or live in the imagination. In the last case, this doesn't mean it should be waved away as nonsense. Perhaps you can point out that moment your world fell apart due to war, a tsunami, a car accident, or was it triggered by a loss or a film you watched. Fear is fear and it can't always be taken away since it's a warning as well, a life lesson.

If not for others fear is real and should be taken seriously. Looking underneath a bed with a torch to show there's no monster will not always do the trick.
Living at a slower pace, and being focused on what you do (automatism and multitasking should be avoided) can help to distract and stop the repetitive thinking.
And why not admit that fear is real and part of you since anxiety is the warning instinct? Wouldn't it be dumb to ignore it if it shows trying to protect you?

Sometimes fear creeps in. Like an unwanted guest, it nestles deep inside. When you realize it's there, it's too late. You wonder what is causing it and no matter how much you think about it, talk about it, write down your thoughts, try to describe what you feel, and talk about it it all comes to nothing. There is no reason why you feel what you feel, it is more than a knot in your stomach.
Anxiety is the invisible ghost racing through the whole body, paralyzing it. As the anxiety breaks out and you hide in the toilet with an excuse, gasping for breath you try to count to ten and contain yourself.
Anxiety let's be friends and walk down the street hand in hand. Let's look the cashier in the eye this time if we pay and say something nice. After that we can escape into the car lock the doors and say: We are great, we did it! You see nothing happened. Let's go home and have a cup of tea before we crawl back into our shells.

It takes energy and courage

to face the day if anxiety tries to rule.
A peaceful environment and stress-free life are what help just like thinking ahead. If time to prepare it's easier to climb a mountain than if dropped there in the middle of the night with the message: see how you get there.
Important is to know yourself and what you can deal with. This differs from person to person. Character, intelligence, skills, attitude, level of sensitivity, and education. the way being raised, our responsibilities, the hardships faced and if we have support all play a role in beating or living with anxiety.

Know you are not alone. The number of people living with fear is higher than shown, sooner or later most of us will have to deal with that feeling since it increases with age, not to mention the effects of medication, illnesses, and hormones.

Great Kitty, what a memorable piece. I will read it every time my stomach starts to knot, and Iโ€™m sure I wonโ€™t break a sweat because this truly is an eye-opener on the subject. Chapeau.

Then I hope you will not read this again. It helps to say: This is me, so what? I do not like to do this and won't. I'll use my skills and creativity for something else and if needed I can always hold hands.

Like you said: we all need friends. No matter what the reason is you have them.

Excessive anxiety will make us hallucinate, what about the of life that we believe in, is there a solution to the problem of uncontrollable anxiety?

Hallucinating, you mean as seeing what doesn't exist?
The cure is understanding, analyzing, being taken seriously, the feeling to be heard and finding the middle road.
Without fear it's like walking in a mine field without warnings, instinct which will be harmful.

Important is to shift those fears. Some one can perfectly live with. Some are normal and others can be given room, perhaps sold and cured.
If the mind feels exhausted by being alert it is wise to focus on relaxing, learn how to be aware of each step you take.

If panic and day and nightmares take over and fears control life it can be good to be hospitalized or visit a doctor and take medication. Although I am no fan of that the brain needs a break too and needs peace, free of thinking.

One of the best methods is art. Painting is used worldwide to give room to whatever we feel or think of. No brush is needed. A sponge, hand, feet, or just splashing, it all is a way to express. It can even be done with mud, sand, pieces of branches, dry grass, weeds, leaves, stones and shells. Acting is a good method to distract

I am not sure if you ever saw Mr Monk the detective? It's a series about a firmer policeman. He has more phobias than one can think is possiible. He lives, works, has an assistance and learns to socialize via her.

It's hard to say if those with a high IQ, just like introverts and creative and sensitive people deal with more fears. I tend to think they do since they have a lot in common.

Another film you might know is 'As good as it gets'. It's about a talented, famous writer who doesn't easily makes friends because of his behaviour.

All the best to you.
Thank you for reading and and commenting.

Salam teman.
