RE: (JaiChai) First-hand experience with Hive.blog's Gang-Downvoting

in Freewriterslast year

That gang ruling was on Steemit. The witnesses were unsatisfied as Steemit was sold. I told them to start a new platform if decentralization was so bad. A free platform would be the key.

They did.
Those who stayed on Steemit (too) were spammed, scammed, obscene texts, memo's, porn pics in the comment lines, scolded at.

Later on Hive published a list of these "traitors"! The old accounts this gang had on Steemit downvoted, SBI was attacked.

I for me wanted to know what became about of Steemit after the witnesses, those who worked on it left (apps included).

Back then I noticed a lot of hostility, envy and indeed I lost friends but also still do not understand the 'decentralization part. Give does not give one a warm welcome, they keep controlling and fighting people, mainly small fish.
I still have my accounts but do not post on a frequent basis. Steemit lost the bad vibes after a gang left it I still feel it at Hive.

I admit I am very disappointed in how people I thought were great personalities and writers went that low to threaten people, sent me certain pictures.

I do not understand the afford they take to break people. If you want to be there you have to follow their rules. Not the official ones. Do not think you have a voice or you are liked.

If you upvote yourself you "drain" the community pot, that's why they say it's not done.

You can forward and upvote others (post 5+ minutes old) and earn with that.
