Boring

Yes I am selfish. I don't feel like wasting my time listening to someone else's boring dreams. It's like being forced to look at someone else's bad photos of people you don't know. I don't need that and I'm not interested in the chatter and whining of the average person who is too lazy to do anything and complains that all his dreams don't come true. I had a friend with wild plans where you already knew that nothing would come of it. At first I helped him find work and housing but when the time came for him to start he let me down and I was embarrassed because I could cancel everything again. So that was once and never again. Of course those dreams kept coming, not the wild ones but even the most boring ones and none of them have been realized in all those years. So I broke off the relationship and every now and then we still speak to each other but luckily it's no more than "hello, how are you" (not very good which is clear and then he crawls back into his hole. A hole that he shares with someone else but no matter which tenant, this person always does everything wrong.

so that boy on the picture is bored? Not allowed to play with his phone or sit behind the computer? I wonder if there are still children/people willing to listen to what others have to tell. The world feels empty without a chat, no one has time except for the screen even if no one talks or there's nothing they like to see they keep staring at it. What a world we live in.
