What could be better than a walk under a canopy of flowers? That's exactly what we thought and we were only too happy to follow the path in front of us. To the left and right of the path, the cherry trees were in full bloom and the people we met were all in the best of moods. They were taking photos and they were smiling, simply enjoying life and the magnificent beauty around them.

It doesn't really need many words and the pictures speak for themselves. During these days when the Queen Sakura is staying with us, many places in our region have finally been transformed into a sea of white and pink blossoms that you can see from afar and that magically draws you in.

And when you stand at the start of the cherry blossom trail, you automatically get as excited as a small child at Christmas. And that's why I walked along the path full of wonder and excitement, admiring this wonderful spectacle that spring offers us these days.

I look left and right, and of course always upwards. Myriads of cherry blossoms sway in the gentle breeze and every now and then a cherry blossom comes sailing down. In a few days there will be more and then the path in front of you will be white as if it had just snowed.

These days are simply something special and I am only too happy to indulge in this spectacle. This is exactly the sight I came out here for and now I want to enjoy this wonderful atmosphere around me. Especially because it doesn't last that long, as it is so fleeting and transient. But right now, I'm taking my time and enjoying the here and now. Everything else has to wait, I am now exactly where I belong and I don't want to leave here any time soon.

DEUTSCH

Eine Runde unter dem Blütendach, was kann es Schöneres geben? Genau so hatten wir uns das auch gedacht, und sind nur all zu gerne dem Weg vor uns gefolgt. Links und rechts des Wegs standen die Kirschbäume in voller Blüte und die Menschen, denen wir begegneten waren aller in der besten Stimmung. Sie machten Fotos und lachten, und erfreuten sich einfach am Leben und an der großartigen Schönheit um sie herum.

Eigentlich braucht es gar nicht so viele Worte und die Bilder sprechen bereits für sich. In diesen Tagen, in denen die Kirschblüten-Königin bei uns verweilt, hat sich endlich auch unsere Region an vielen Orten in ein weiß-rosa Blütenmeer verwandelt, dass man bereits aus der Ferne sehen kann und das einen ganz magisch anzieht.

Und wenn man dann am Anfang des Kirschblütenwegs steht ist man ganz automatisch so aufgeregt wie ein ein kleines Kind zu Weihnachten. Und dann schreite ich voller Staunen und Aufregung den Weg entland und bewundere wie einmal dieses wundervolle Spektakel, dass uns der Frühling in diesen Tagen bietet.

Ich schaue nach links und nach rechts, und auch immer wieder nach oben. Überall wiegen Myriaden von Kirschblüten im leichten Wind und ab und zu kommt auch einmal eine Kirschblüte nach unten gesegelt. In ein paar Tagen werden es mehr werden und dann wird der Weg vor einen auf einem weiß sein, als hätte es gerade geschneit.

Diese Tage sind einfach etwas besonderes und ich gebe mich diesem Schauspiel nur all zu gerne hin. Genau für diesem Anblick bin ich doch hier raus gekommen und jetzt will ich diese herrliche Atmosphäre um mich herum auch genießen. Gerade weil sie ja doch gar nicht so lange anhält, sondern so flüchtig und vergänglich ist. Aber jetzt in diesem Augenblick lasse ich mir Zeit und genieße das Hier und das Jetzt. Alles andere muss warten, jetzt bin ich genau dort, wo ich hingehöre und hier will ich so schnell auch nicht wieder weg.

Lauft doch mit mir und genießt für einen Moment den Zauber der Kirschblüte. Unsere Welt kann so wundervoll sein und dessen sollten wir uns unbedingt immer wieder vergewissern...
