Data Darbar Shrine Lahore

Data Darbar is a famous shrine in Lahore. Data Darbar is the shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh. His real name is Syed Ali Hajveri, who is known as Data Ganj Bakhsh. He was born in Afghanistan in 990 AH and traveled to many countries and kept himself busy in the service of Islam. He was a Persian scholar and Sufi, and he has many famous books. He died in the famous city of Lahore, Pakistan, in 1077. His final resting place will be in the famous city of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

This shrine, which dates back about 1100 years, is still popular today because people come here to seek closeness to Allah, which is said to be through Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh. His court is beautiful and spacious. Looking at its exterior, one can guess that it has been made in the best possible way.

To enter the Darbar of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh, some iron barriers have been installed on these sides so that if anyone comes here, there is no crowd, and everyone goes in one line. In this way, all the people are easily taken to the Data Darbar in one sequence.

When you cross these barriers and move forward, you see a vast and open courtyard of Data Darbar, which can accommodate millions of people and has been made very open and beautiful.

Data Darbar has been made beautiful. If we talk about its interior, a dome has been built above its court, and development is underway to make the dome more beautiful. Inside, beautiful carvings have been done on the sides, chandeliers have been installed, and beautiful coloring has been done.

Guards are always present at the gates of Data Darbar and welcome those who come, and people pray for them here and establish their connection with Allah Almighty through them.

To the left of Data Sahib, you will see two more graves, one of Hazrat Sheikh Lutfi and the other of Hazrat Sheikh Hindi, and they are also buried in their shadows. They are also covered with a blanket and made beautiful. The entire history is written on their right side.

No one returns hungry or thirsty after visiting the Data Darbar Nagri because food and cold water are available 24 hours a day. In the summer season, everyone enjoys it very much because water filter plants have been installed at various places from where you can drink clean, cold water. Similarly, right behind Data Darbar, you will see a filter plant where glasses are kept, and it has been beautifully designed. People sit there and drink water and quench their thirst.

The open space in front of this court has been surrounded by verandas that are open and most beautiful, with good carvings inside and a good type of stone laid at the bottom. Similarly, on the veranda in front of the court, ancient relics have been laid. People sit there and pray for them and find peace by sitting there.

In 1999, during the government of Nawaz Sharif, this palace was renovated in a good way, and its beauty was further enhanced. At the same time, water fountains were installed inside its courtyard, which was inaugurated by Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in 1999. At that time, the condition of this palace was not like this, but he made it more beautiful.

A crowd of birds gathers at the court of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Hajveri 24 hours a day, especially pigeons. Here, you can see wild pigeons and other pigeons 24 hours a day, and they are sitting in thousands. Their food is also arranged, and their care is completed. They are a pride of the court of this Data Darbar Hajveri (may Allah have mercy on him). As soon as you see pigeons in a large crowd, you should understand that you have reached the court of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Hajver, because there is a center for pigeons there.

As I mentioned earlier, it has been made beautiful in every way, so everywhere in its courtyard and veranda, you can see beautiful white marble stones, and it does not get hot in the summer season. You will find it completely cool in every season. It has been kept cool for the convenience of all those who come because thousands of people come here at a time and pray for him and try to get close to him.

Similarly, donation boxes have been placed at various places. If someone wants to serve here, if they want to spend something for the sake of humanity, then they should put some of their money in this donation box so that through it, their charity will be delivered to the people. Because food is ready here 24 hours a day and people come here to quench their hunger and thirst, this donation is used for all those people who are poor and take shelter here.

If you look at the Darbar of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Hajveri (may Allah have mercy on him) from the back, you will see that it is being further prepared. Smaller domes are also being built around its main dome. Its beauty will further increase in the coming days.

When we enter through the main door of their main gate, we first see a shoe stand on one side, where you are given a token to keep that shoe in exchange for 10 rupees. Through it, your picture remains because you cannot go there with your shoes. You can deposit your shoe here and get the token. On your return, you have to deposit that token and 10 rupees to get your shoe.

And on the other hand, if we look, we see clean water tanks there where you can sit and perform ablution because there is a famous mosque right behind Data Darbar and when there is a big event here, the courtyard of this Data Darbar is also used as a mosque so you can also offer prayers there, that's why water has been arranged here.

If you want to visit a historical place, then you must visit the famous city of Lahore in Pakistan, because here you usually get to see all the things that are thousands of years old, like the Data Darbar, which is thousands of years old and is still standing today, and is crowded with people.
