The Diary Game: A Closed Shop Changed My Breakfast Plans(12:03:2026)

Hello everyone, I am Happiness Effiong with @inemghurrl as my steemit username. Last night, I went to bed late because I stayed till 2am watching movie so this morning I woke up late, the sun was out already and it was at its peak to know how late it was when I woke up. The whole compound was silent as everyone had gone out for their business, I brushed my mouth, took my bath and picked my phone to get update on a meeting we were to have with our departmental president.

I saw that it has been shifted till tomorrow so I went outside and took a selfie before going into the kitchen to make breakfast. I saw rice in the kitchen and I didn't crave to eat it as breakfast so I went out to buy beverages and bread with the money gotten from my saving box, the first shop I went to was closed despite sampling their items and I had to move under the hot sun to a store far away from my house in search of milk, chocolate and bread.

When I got there, it was afternoon already and I knew this because I immediately I walked in, the radio station that was on okay began to give their twelve noon news. There was no point having tea as lunch so I bought indomie and bread instead and went home, I prepared and ate it before I washed the plates and went outside to assist my neighbor who was making her hair when I passed by to buy beverages. When I arrived, I joined in giving the hair extension to the hair stylist and we ran out of extension and I was sent to go withdraw some money and buy a pack of attachment.

I got to the POS store and made the transaction, I even saw some female foot wears that caught my attention and I wanted to buy but when I remembered that my exams is just by the corner and I'll need money for transport fare to and fro school for the eight days we will be having exams, I had to hold myself and do what I was sent. In the evening, after I had read for two hours and more, I was famished and went to eat the rice I rejected at first.

I don't like eating cold foods so I had to first warm it before dishing a plate for myself. I ate and when I was satisfied, I put the plate away and relaxed. My friend came to the house and needed my help in ordering for an item through Jumia and I assisted her in placing the order, I saw her off and returned home, had my bath and waited for moms return so we would make dinner and I finally get to rest for the day.
