Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. I am also Alhamdulillah, well by the endless mercy of Allah. Today I will discuss a mosque with you, which is located in the southeastern region of Bangladesh, specifically in the Cox's Bazar district. It is included within the Cox's Bazar district and is situated near Dolphin Mor. This mosque is called the Kolatoli Station Bazar Mosque.

Name and gate of the mosque

Kalatoli Bazar Station Mosque is an open mosque established by the local people and all kinds of worshippers in the area. Five daily prayers are performed here, and it is open to everyone at any time for offering prayers. Many of the mosque's expenses are covered by the Imam, and arrangements have been made to accept donations for all mosque-related expenses. Everyone can donate, and there is a donation box as well as a banner for donations.

This mosque is located on the second floor. On the first floor, there are various markets and shops, so you have to go up a staircase to reach the second floor, which is being shown to you and indicated here. After going up the stairs, you will see the donation box, the balcony, and the staircase. Then you will see an Arabic inscription at the entrance of the mosque, which says to recite the prayer. This prayer is the prayer for entering the mosque, and in Islam, we are taught to recite this prayer when entering the mosque.

You can enter this mosque at any time, but for times other than the five daily prayers, you must obtain permission to enter. The reason is that this is a public place, and if someone enters at times other than the five daily prayers without taking any precautions, it does not look very good. Therefore, if anyone wants to pray at times other than the five daily prayers, they can pray on the veranda. I entered inside, and after going in, I took a selfie in the interior environment.

There is a very beautiful environment inside the mosque and many rows where people can pray together in congregation. There are arrangements for many fan lights and air conditioning, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The most important place among them is the pulpit. We call it the Imam's place, where the Imam will lead the prayer and deliver sermons. It is very important and significant for the beauty of the mosque.

This mosque is a sacred place, and only holy things and holy people are present in this sacred place; nothing impure exists here. To maintain this sanctity, the environment is always kept beautiful. This mosque has about two servants, one muezzin, one imam for the five daily prayers, and one khatib who leads the Friday Jummah prayer. Additionally, those who come to the mosque can, if they wish, read the holy Quran, and for this purpose, there is a rack that contains such books.

There are several arrangements here to maintain the sanctity of the mosque, which are very important for the worshippers and those who offer prayer. If you come here, you can definitely see the arrangements for fans, lighting, placing shoes, cleaning, electricity, and switches. These help in controlling the electricity. As far as I have learned, this mosque was established in 2005, and it serves as the local mosque where the community collectively supports it. People around the mosque come here to pray, and since it is located in a tourist area, many visitors from far and wide also come to perform prayers.
