Map the Story #36 - RAMC Shopping Complex, Rangpur

Today I would like to share my experience of visiting one of the largest shopping complexes in Rangpur. I visited this place last year, and it is probably the biggest shopping complex I have seen in this northern district of Bangladesh. The shopping complex is located beside Cantonment Road.

When I first saw this shopping complex, I was quite surprised. Before this, I had never seen such a large and modern shopping center in Rangpur. After seeing it from outside, I immediately felt interested in exploring the building.

When I visited the complex for the first time, I really liked the modern interior design. Everything inside looked organized and clean. The shops were nicely decorated, and the lighting system was also very good, which made the environment feel bright and attractive.

I also liked the exterior decoration of some gift shops located on the lower floors. This shopping complex has six floors, and both escalators and elevators are available to move between floors. However, I noticed that the escalators were not functional on all floors, so the elevator was more convenient to use.

There are many different shops in this complex, and each floor has a variety of services and stores.
Level-6 includes a food court, conference hall, departmental store, party center, and buffet center.
Level-5 has a game zone, mobile servicing shops, laptop/computer servicing, mobile accessories, travel agencies, and gift stores.
Level-4 contains mobile shops, laptop and computer stores, sports equipment shops, gym items, decoration items, and service centers.

Level-3 includes shoe stores for men, women, and children, watch and clock stores, crockery corners, boutique shops, garment items, cosmetics, jewelry stores, optical shops, and beauty parlors.
Level-2 features ready-made garments, branded clothing, bag and travel trolley stores, cosmetics shops, winter clothing, gift shops, vape stores, and salons.
Level-1 contains branded garments, cosmetics shops, jewelry stores, gift stores, travel bags, optical shops, branded chocolate stores, departmental stores, tailors, and beauty parlors.

My favorite place in the complex was Level-6, where the food court and restaurants are located. There is also a buffet restaurant where people can enjoy a buffet at a reasonable price. The quality of the food there seemed quite good.

The prices of clothes in many shops were slightly higher. However, some stores offer products at more reasonable prices. Usually, large shopping complexes attract wealthy customers, and because of maintenance costs and brand value, the prices can sometimes be higher.

Overall, when a shopping complex offers shopping, food, entertainment, and services all under one roof, it makes the experience much more enjoyable. Even if you do not plan to shop, visiting such a modern shopping complex can still be an interesting outing.
