Today I’m going to tell you about a tea stall that’s very close to my heart. I’ve been to this place countless times, enjoying the warmth of a cup of tea and the joy of chatting with friends and familiar faces.

Every sip here holds memories, laughter, stories, and the comfort of togetherness. So, let me share a bit more about this special tea stall.
Location & Accessibility
This small tea stall is located beside the Parbatipur–Barapukuria road in our town. Most vehicles heading toward the main city pass through this road, making the stall easy to access and well-known among locals. The stall is situated roughly halfway between the railway station and the bus terminal.

People here usually call it “Rubel Vai’s Tea Stall” or “Rubel’s Tea Stall,” named after the owner, Rubel. He manages the stall very well and is also a well-known local cricket player who has played in different areas. His friendly nature and popularity have made this place quite well-known and welcoming.
Structure & Environment

The setup of this tea stall is quite typical, like most local tea stalls. Inside the main area, various types of snacks are stored neatly. The main structure is made of brick and cement, with an extended tin-covered section where the tea is served. There are a few tables and benches where people can sit and enjoy their tea.

Just like any regular tea stall, people here often enjoy biscuits, bread, or chips along with their tea. The stall has two refrigerators used for water and beverages, and sometimes they even sell ice cream. But no matter what’s on offer, the main attraction of this place is still the tea and the fresh snacks.

The area around the stall is lively, with many houses nearby. The environment feels pleasant and friendly. One of my favorite moments is sitting there during rainy days hearing the sound of raindrops on the tin roof while sipping a warm cup of tea feels simply wonderful.

The main attraction of this stall is its two types of tea milk tea and red tea. Both cost only 5 taka per cup. If you want a larger cup, you can get one for 10 taka. It’s rare these days to find a place that still serves tea for just 5 taka, but this stall does.

Another popular item here is boiled chickpeas (chhola). They are delicious and served with puffed rice and salad for just 10 taka per plate.

Besides tea and snacks, the stall also sells some stationery items like pens and notebooks, as well as a few personal care products such as face cream, mustard oil, and toothpaste. Because of this variety, the stall attracts different types of customers every day.

The tea here tastes really good both the milk tea and the red tea are full of flavor. Personally, I prefer the red tea because it’s made with ingredients like ginger, clove, and black cumin, which not only add a nice aroma and taste but are also good for health.
The chickpeas (chhola) are also tasty and well-prepared. Sometimes, in the afternoon or evening, the stall also sells snacks like puri and piyaji, which are crispy and delicious.
During winter, different types of traditional cakes (pitha) are sold here. Many people gather around to buy them, and the food is always prepared neatly and hygienically, which makes people trust this place.
Personal Experience
Having tea at this familiar stall always feels special. No matter the season, I enjoy drinking tea here. I’ve spent countless evenings chatting with my friends and brothers while sipping hot tea. The tea and snacks here are of good quality and very affordable, making them a great value for money. That’s why I wanted to share my review of this tea stall with you all. I warmly invite everyone to stop by and enjoy a cup of tea here someday. Overall, this small tea stall isn’t just a place to have tea it’s a corner filled with warmth, conversations, and community spirit.
