A Coffee Break and Dinner at Kilat Kuphi, Carrefour Medan

Last friday, my family and I went to Carrefour Medan for a shopping trip. It was a fun day because everyone was excited to buy some things for our holiday. My wife, my children, and other family members went upstairs to shop. While waiting for them, my brother-in-law and I decided to go down to the ground floor.

We found something very interesting. There was an Acehnese coffee shop inside the mall called Kilat Kuphi. As someone from Aceh, I was happy and a little surprised to see a traditional Aceh coffee shop in a modern shopping mall. It felt like bringing a small piece of home to Medan.

The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There were many tables, so visitors could relax without feeling crowded. The atmosphere was calm even though the mall was busy. It was a perfect place to take a short break after walking around the shopping center.
We ordered two cups of hot Aceh coffee. The coffee smelled fresh and had a rich, strong taste. It was exactly what we needed after spending time walking around the mall. We enjoyed every sip while chatting about family, work, and our holiday plans. Sometimes, simple conversations over a cup of coffee become the best part of the day.

One thing I really liked was the idea of having a local Acehnese coffee shop inside a modern mall. It gives people from Aceh a feeling of nostalgia, and it also introduces Aceh's famous coffee culture to visitors from other places. I think this is a great way to promote local culture.
The service was friendly, and the waiting time was not too long. The staff served our drinks with a smile, making the experience even better. The seating area was also comfortable enough to rest before continuing our shopping.

After a while, my wife, my children, and the rest of the family finished their shopping and came to Kilat Kuphi to join us. Since it was already dinner time, we decided to have dinner together there.
Everyone ordered different food according to their favorite menu. We ordered martabak, fried rice, meatballs (bakso), and grilled rice served with fried catfish. The food arrived quite quickly, and everything looked fresh and delicious.

The fried rice had a nice flavor and a generous portion. The bakso was warm, tasty, and perfect to enjoy after a long day of shopping. The martabak was crispy on the outside and soft inside. My favorite was the grilled rice with fried catfish. The rice had a delicious smoky aroma, while the catfish was crispy outside and tender inside. It was a very satisfying meal.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Kilat Kuphi. If you are visiting Carrefour Medan and need a place to relax, I highly recommend stopping here. Whether you are shopping with family, meeting friends, or simply looking for a good cup of coffee, this place is worth visiting.

For me, a shopping trip is not only about buying things. It is also about creating beautiful memories with family. And that afternoon, a cup of hot Aceh coffee at Kilat Kuphi became one of the best memories of our holiday.
